A Grace-Filled Weekend in Our Parish 🙏✨
This past weekend at St. Matthias Mulumba Catholic Church, Azhata Abuja, was truly inspiring and impactful.
On Saturday, 25th April 2026, we held a well-attended and transformative Leadership Workshop that brought together newly elected executives from various organizations, groups, and societies within our parish. It was a time of learning, reflection, and renewed commitment to servant leadership.
On Sunday, 26th April 2026, during the 8:30AM Holy Mass, these newly elected executives took their Oath of Office in the presence of God and the entire parish community. With hearts full of dedication, they pledged to serve faithfully, uphold their responsibilities, and lead with integrity in their respective offices.
The priest offered special prayers and blessings for them, committing their leadership journey into God’s hands. He also formally introduced the Presidents and Chairpersons of the various organizations, groups, and societies to the church.
It was a beautiful moment of unity, faith, and commitment to service in God’s vineyard.
We pray that God grants them wisdom, strength, and grace to lead effectively and to always do right by God and by their offices.
